First Flight is Cal State LA’s new and improved New Student and Family Orientation. All new incoming undergraduate students are required to attend orientation, including first-time freshmen, returning, transfer, and international students.
The objective of rebranding New Student and Family Orientation is to give a new and bold identity to orientation that provides prospective students the opportunity to experience what it will be like to be a Golden Eagle. During student’s First Flight not only will they visit the campus, but they will also meet with academic advisors, complete course registration, and speak firsthand with current students. The new look and feel is the gateway to a brighter future for prospective students at Cal State LA.
